I wasn't asked to speak so I haven't prepared anything. I
would just like to thank Leichhardt Council and the people of Leichhardt
for all the support they have given in the last quarter
of a century to Leichhardt Women's Health Centre. And
that is the main reason I wanted to say something,
because it was the first women's health centre in
Australia. It was a totally new concept, and Leichhardt Council supported it right from its
inception in 1973. I wanted to say thank you for that and
thank you to the people of Leichhardt who have always
supported the centre.
