And I feel sure that they both will help themselves to cards, as you all must before you go. Now I've got some other thank yous. I would very much like to thank a number of the staff of Leichhardt Council who have assisted me in getting off my butt if you like, to get this organised - thank you very much to Anne Martin, Sue Ferlong and Margaret Lions, who I don't think is here at the moment. Thank you to Lenore Tardis who along with Anne organised today. And to past employees of Leichhardt Jane Burgess and Linda Boland - thank you very much. I would also like to thank the panel who helped in the difficult task of choosing the four. I'd like to thank Lyn Lormer, Kathryn Farrawell, Gail Hewison, Carmen Lavezzari, and also thank you to the women councilors of Leichhardt Council who were also part of that panel. And a very special thank you to Pat and Cindy from Avante Card who designed such a gorgeous card - thank you so much its lovely and we can be very symbolic. Anne Martin our cultural planner here, has taught me all the words to say about the symbolism in the card. It's always one of those amusing things when artists start to talk about their work, in that if they could talk they would probably be writers or speech makers, but they are not that great at it sometimes - that's why they paint - in my view! We didn't take these words from Cindy or Pat, these are our own creation - but I do think that there is a lot of symbolism in the card. There is the circular fence around the photograph and the iron which I think is the inclusiveness of women and their ability to work with each other and take a lot of different points onboard. There is the strength of the iron and if you notice right there in the background there is the "open door", well a "half open door", but we all have the strength to push it wide open I hope.
