The Women's Reconciliation Network
Healing our nation through women's wisdom

The Women's Reconciliation Network is an informal network of indigenous and non-indigenous women aiming to "open our hearts to the experience of others, accept our traditional wisdoms, acknowledge the past and heal others''.

The network was developed through Australians for Reconciliation, a major project of the Council for Aboriginal Reconciliation, and launched because of the overwhelming response of women wanting to join together in a journey of healing, listening and sharing. Groups are forming across NSW and Australia, ensuring the process of reconciliation is firmly grounded in local communities, organisations, families and schools. More than 400 women and organisations form the current membership.

In Sydney, meetings are held every second month on Thursday mornings. Membership is open to any woman committed to the network's vision. Contact WRN at 214 Crown Street, East Sydney 2010, or Lynn Pollack on (02) 9328 2060 or Bev Clarke (02) 9544 7242.
